About The Position
The Hilton Garden Inn-Buffalo Airport is seeking Room Attendants to join their team. Located moments from Buffalo airport, the hotel offers a free 24/7 airport shuttle, 158 guest rooms/suites, and onsite dining at the Garden Grille & Bar. The Hilton Garden Inn/Buffalo-Airport is part of Buffalo Lodging Associates, an award-winning hotel management company founded in 1996, which owns and manages 50 hotel properties under brands like Marriott, Hilton, InterContinental, and Choice Hotels. Buffalo Lodging Associates emphasizes true hospitality and operational excellence. A Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms and suites.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel setting or open to training.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Able to work alone or as part of a team.
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
- Can navigate a cart weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Lift, carry up to 25 lbs.
- An engaging personality.
Responsibilities
- Clean rooms/suites as assigned by supervisor ensuring quality of cleanliness and customer service. This includes cleaning floors, vacuuming, changing linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms.
- Reporting discrepancies and maintenance problems to supervisor.
- Providing excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests.
- Working typical shifts that include weekends and holidays when required.
