About The Position

The Hotel Housekeeping Room Attendant plays a critical role in ensuring that guests have a clean and comfortable environment during their stay. This position is essential for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and service that PCI Gaming is known for. The Room Attendant is responsible for preparing guest rooms, which includes cleaning, restocking amenities, and ensuring that all areas are tidy and welcoming. The role requires a positive attitude and the ability to interact with guests in a friendly manner, contributing to their overall experience at the hotel. In addition to cleaning guest rooms, the Room Attendant will also be responsible for various tasks such as segregating dirty or damaged linens, recovering lost-and-found items, and providing information to guests about the hotel and its amenities. The position may also involve performing turndown service and routine maintenance on cleaning equipment. The Room Attendant must adhere to safety rules and maintain cleanliness in storage areas and housekeeping carts, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. This role is not just about cleaning; it is about creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, making them feel valued and important. The Room Attendant must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing time efficiently to meet the demands of cleaning up to 15 rooms per shift. The position requires physical stamina, as it involves standing and walking for the entire shift, as well as the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. Overall, the Room Attendant is a vital part of the hotel team, contributing to the guest experience and the hotel's reputation for excellence.
