About The Position
Roof Top Pool Bar Server AC Hotel San Diego Downtown Gaslamp Quarter We are looking for a highly motivated, customer-focused Roof Top Pool Bar Server to join our team at the AC Hotel San Diego Downtown Gaslamp Quarter! Servers are the face of our Roof Top Pool Bar and play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences. In this role, you will ensure tables are clean and prepared when guests arrive, present menus, and serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate is quick on their feet, attentive to detail, and brings an engaging and welcoming attitude to every interaction. Your Role Prepare the Roof Top Pool Bar for service by completing all pre-shift duties Greet guests warmly as they arrive or move about the Roof Top Pool Bar Guide guests through their culinary journey with knowledgeable and descriptive menu recommendations Accurately take orders while confirming any special requests or modifications Demonstrate strong menu knowledge to enhance guest conversations and experiences Work collaboratively with fellow servers and kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, guiding them to a satisfactory resolution Finalize the guest experience through timely and accurate bill presentation
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or bar serving experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift and carry trays weighing up to 25 pounds
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service certifications may be required
