About The Position

Working alongside the Food and Beverage Management Team at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, we are seeking a Bartender for The Roof Garden Restaurant who possesses a genuine warmth and sense of hospitality.

Requirements

• 1-2 years prior bartending experience
• Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Certification.
• Able to learn, retain, and present product, menu, and allergy information.
• Flexible schedule and can work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Serves beverages in an efficient, courteous manner.
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of alcoholic beverages to include liquors and wines as well as knowledge of proper cocktail preparation techniques.
• Makes suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences.
• Provides exceptional service for all guests and work to build relationships with returning guests.
• Maintains bar area & clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
