Job Summary Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented and service-minded Release of Information Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely retrieval of Protected Health Information, accurate data entry, and providing professional support to our requestors. You will join a dedicated team of specialists focused on maintaining the integrity of sensitive patient data and providing exceptional service to healthcare providers and their clients. Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm

Requirements

  • Service & Communication Experience: Proven experience in a customer service environment with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and clearly.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of data entry practices and the ability to navigate multiple facility and Iron Mountain computer platforms simultaneously.
  • Proven Ability in Quality Control: A meticulous approach to problem-solving and an ability to meet daily metrics while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry Foundation: A background in Health Information Management is a plus, we are willing to train candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Execute Information Retrieval & Data Entry: Locate Protected Health Information within various computer systems and perform high-volume data entry to fulfill requests with precision and speed.
  • Provide Professional Customer Service: Collaborate with requestors, facility stakeholders, and internal teams to provide status updates and resolve inquiries regarding information release.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Verify the quality of all reproduced work to ensure it meets federal and state statutes, as well as Iron Mountain’s internal security policies and procedures.
