YOUR IMPACT: The Robotics and Automation Lead oversees the development, implementation, and optimization of advanced automation system to improve manufacturing efficiency, safety, and quality. This role leads robotic programming, system integration, and operator training while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support design and process improvements. They also diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring the performance and reliability of robotic and automation systems.

Requirements

  • This role requires an Associate’s Degree with 6+ years of experience with robotics, including Fanuc and ABB as well as PLC troubleshooting and minor programming with both Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms. OR equivalent combination of education or experience.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting and mechanical experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Programming, installing, and optimizing automated systems, including robotics, PLCs, vision systems and peripheral controls components.
  • Performing routine maintenance and inspections, and making improvements to systems
  • Troubleshoot robotic systems, using knowledge of microprocessors, programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, sensors or feedback systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics.
  • Test performance of robotic assemblies
  • Develop robotic path motions to maximize efficiency, safety, and quality
  • Assist engineers in the design, configuration, or application of robotic systems
  • Training team members on how to use and maintain robots
