In your role as an Autonomous Systems Integration Engineer you will collaborate with robotics vendors to embed cutting edge platforms into the Samsung Austin semiconductor environment, design and implement data collection strategies that drive continuous product design refinement, and develop full stack solutions including telemetry databases and user centric web interfaces to support real time monitoring and operational decision making. You'll use your firmware and scripting expertise for diverse sensor inputs (proportional voltage, current loop, Mod bus, MQTT, etc.), as well as hands on troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading of both embedded and enterprise level applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering.
  • 4-6 years working in software development.
  • Familiar and experienced in IoT deployment and management tools such as Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, Airtable, and Graphana.
  • Python, Rust, Java Script, HTML, CSS, Postgres programming, Designing application schema and building scalable systems.
  • Strong data analytics mathematically, computationally, and the ability to program scalable dynamic systems to react and distribute information to human and system stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Semiconductor Manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Machine vision with ML workflows experience is a plus.
  • Strong electronics understanding including the ability to select appropriate sensors for application in regards to accuracy, precision, and resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with autonomous robotics vendors to integrate platforms into Samsung environment.
  • Define and implement strategies for collecting and analyzing data to support iterative improvements and refinements of product design and quality metrics.
  • Develop full-stack solutions to meet customer needs including: Database setup: For deployed systems monitoring, debugging, and Web application development: For user interface and operational data display.
  • Develop of sensor firmware and scripting to enable various sensor inputs such as proportional voltage, current loop, Mod-Bus, MQTT, etc.
  • Provide various automation and integration solutions, requiring interface with enterprise production systems, autonomous robotics, IoT, and human data input.
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing applications.
  • Manage the integration and continuous improvement of many autonomous systems and platforms while also managing the continuous improvement of those systems in the most complex and sensitive environment on earth, a semiconductor manufacturing plant.
