You will also create engineering designs involving geometric design of highways and streets, drainage design (hydrology and hydraulics), and completing construction engineering and inspection tasks. Additionally, experience in the collection of traffic and highway field data and proficiency in using software platforms such as MicroStation, OpenRoads, and related design and office software are integral to the position as you assist with completion of transportation planning reports, roadway safety studies, and various traffic engineering projects.
Requirements
- Currently seeking Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or another closely related field
- Experience in the collection of traffic and highway field data
- Proficiency in using software platforms such as MicroStation, OpenRoads, and related design and office software
Nice To Haves
- EIT Certification
- Experience using OpenRoads
- Basic understanding of the application of geometric and traffic operations principles including AASHTO, MUTCD, and state DOT requirements/policies
Responsibilities
