An entry-level professional in the field of Engineering. Stays in a three-year training period, including courses and participation with more senior management level supervision on different projects. Uses professional concepts to resolve problems of limited scope and complexity. Reports directly to senior engineers and works closely with other engineers in all matters related to Design and Engineering. Ensures design is delivered on time and on budget, and complies with the required Quality, Health, Safety and Wellbeing and Sustainability standards and requirements. Will either be given a project to work on or be given a small "Package" to manage from start to finish. Contributes to the achievement of tasks in accordance with Ferrovial's policy and ensure quality on our projects is upheld. Job Overview: As a Roadway Engineer-In-Training in Ferrovial Construction, you will work on some of the largest civil infrastructure projects in North America, mainly Design & Build and P3 Projects in the United States, during both the bidding and the construction phases. The candidate will work in a wide variety of civil-design-related tasks, focusing on Roadway, Maintenance of Traffic and Traffic Engineering, will learn the company standards for roadway and traffic control design and will develop expertise in using traffic analysis design software and processes. Under the supervision of Ferrovial Construction US Engineering Services department, the EIT will have the technical support and resources needed to advance in their professional career within a collaborative environment.
