We are currently seeking an experienced Roadway Design Engineer Project Manager - to support and grow our Transportation Practice in our Cleveland, Ohio office. Annual Compensation: $95,000 185,000 based upon experience, certifications, and regional market standards. Benefit Information: Here ROADWAY DESIGN ENGINEER PROJECT MANAGER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible for scope, fees, and the profitability of individual projects as well as a portfolio of projects. Point person and firms contact with clients while functioning as project manager. Assists in new sales with clients for which they are managing projects. Guides and coordinates all internal LJB transportation disciplines, with sub-consultants, and clients. Has a basic understanding of what the other transportation disciplines do and what they require as part of specific projects. Responsible for the nine knowledge areas, according to the Project Management Institute (PMI), that are associated with each phase of the project they are managing including: Project Integration Management Project Scope Management Project Time Management Project Cost Management Project Quality Management Project Human Resource Management Project Communications Management Project Risk Management Project Procurement Management Responsible for assisting the Deputy Operations Manager in maintaining PM best practices. On larger projects, PM may or may not be involved directly in the design. Apprise Deputy Operations Manager of employee performance on particular projects. Provide information to Deputy Operations Manager on future projects so they can manage staffing. Assist in informal development of other employees.
