About The Position

The mission of the Road Operations Administrator is to ensure the efficient and secure management of transportation and logistics operations, as well as the administrative follow-up of road operations in Morocco. The main responsibility is to make sure that the systems are up to date, with accurate information entered within the required timeframe.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (Bac +3) in transportation and logistics, international trade, or a similar field
  • Initial experience in a similar position within the transportation and logistics sector or the aeronautics or automotive industry
  • Good knowledge of national and international road freight transport
  • Proficiency in regulations related to international trade between Morocco and Europe
  • Understanding of the specificities of freight transport
  • Knowledge of transport management software and tracking systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluency in French and English; Spanish is a plus
  • Excellent skills in planning, organization, and time management (meeting deadlines)
  • Ability to build trust-based relationships with suppliers and ensure responsiveness and compliance with requirements
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to draw conclusions and find solutions
  • Ability to write clear and structured reports
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude at work and remain productive in a complex environment

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements according to the Ground & Rail activity workflow
  • Ensure the processing of administrative requests
  • Oversee the execution of the supplier pre-invoicing schedule
  • Implement the TMS (Transport Management System) in use
  • Monitor invoicing, coordinate document submission, and ensure payment collection
  • Guarantee the administrative management of documents and costs related to transport operations
  • Track both physically and digitally the receipt of delivery documents (CMR)
  • Report on the tracking of routes completed by traction subcontractors
  • Develop and update SOPs
  • Manage and update the operational dashboard
  • Comply with the quality, safety, and hygiene standards in force within the company
  • Alert your manager in case of detection of a risk situation
  • Ensure the health, safety, and working conditions of all stakeholders within your scope
  • Apply and enforce all group standards regarding safety and well-being at work within your area of responsibility
