Road Maintenance Technician – Full Time Position Available About Santo Domingo: For over 400 years, Santo Domingo Pueblo has been one of the central Indian Pueblos in New Mexico. Summary of Position: Incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting the Equipment Operator in providing road maintenance activities. Assist supervisor in the safe keeping of equipment, equipment maintenance, the use and care of all tools, power tools and materials required to perform road maintenance activities. Assist in the transportation of equipment from the storage location to the job site.

Requirements

• Must have graduated high school or received a GED; AND a minimum of two (2) years of related experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possess a valid New Mexico driver's license (CDL preferred) with ability to meet Santo Domingo Pueblo auto and liability insurance requirements and maintain eligibility for insurance.
• Must be able to operate Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Must have excellent communication skills-both written and verbal.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds on a regular basis and sustain prolonged walking, standing, bending, stooping, while working outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
• Be able to work extended hours, including weekends, evenings, holidays, or "on call" as required.
• Must be able to satisfactorily pass all Santo Domingo background checks.
• Must have a clean, neat in appearance.
