As Road Logistics Customer Care & Operations Manager in Freight Forwarding oversees daily road freight, balancing client needs with operational efficiency by managing bookings, tracking shipments, resolving issues, coordinating carriers, and leading a team to meet KPIs for on-time delivery, cost control, and customer satisfaction, ensuring smooth execution from pickup to final delivery. You will combine strategic leadership with hands-on coordination of domestic and cross-border transport. This position acts as a vital bridge between sales, operational execution, and the client, focusing on service excellence and process efficiency How you create impact Customer Relationship Management - You will act as the main point of contact, processing orders, providing status updates, handling inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Operations Oversight - Manage all road freight activities, including scheduling pickups/deliveries, booking carriers, coordinating with drivers/agents, and overseeing documentation (BOLs, invoices). Team Leadership - Supervise, train, and motivate the logistics team, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring cross-training. Performance & KPIs - Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like On-Time Delivery (OTD), cost, and order accuracy, implementing corrective actions as needed. Cost & Efficiency - Develop strategies to optimize routes, manage trailer pools, control costs, and improve overall supply chain efficiency. Carrier & Vendor Management - Negotiate with carriers and brokers, monitor their performance, and build strong relationships. Regulatory Compliance - Ensure all operations adhere to DOT regulations, customs requirements for international road freight, and company safety standards. Process Optimization - Implement continuous improvement initiatives using lean methodologies to increase workflow efficiency and reduce overall logistics costs
