This role is in support of Cencora's veterinary and livestock production solutions marketed through our MWI Animal Health business. MWI Animal Health is a leading brand of Cencora, offering animal health services globally. Analyze Large Strategic Accounts; forecasts, sales vs. plan and purchasing trends, whether based on historical demand or new customer requirements to maximize ABC Distribution Service Agreement (DSA) compliance. Builds and maintains relationships with Large Strategic Accounts, Suppliers and other functional areas in order to improve performance, buy side profitability, inventory productivity and overall team effectiveness. Maintains MWI’s inventory levels. Works closely with Customers, Suppliers, and Distribution Centers to move any non-productive inventory. Develops new solutions to various tactical challenges MWI and strategic accounts face as it relates to procuring product and supplier and distribution center relations. Works with Large Strategic Accounts Manager on opportunities such as deals, rebates, allowances, new item purchases and promotional activities for suppliers and customers. Partners with large strategic accounts daily and acts as an advocate for MWI Animal Health interests relative to large strategic accounts’ actions and policies. Ability to resolve issues with guidance and oversight from manager. Ability to multi-task and perform varied functions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Participates in strategic decisions to find solutions to increase MWI Animal Health’s profitability. Performs related duties as assigned.
