As an RNG Feedstock Driver you will operate transport to deliver dairy manure in accordance with company standards while maintaining the professional and positive image of Suburban Propane.

Requirements

  • To operate our company vehicles, you must have a minimum of a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with HAZMAT, tanker, and air brake endorsements as well as a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate allowing for operation in interstate commerce.
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent training and experience.
  • Ability to lift and pull equipment that weighs 50 to 75
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Must be able to satisfy the English Language Proficiency qualification requirements in 49 CFR §391.11(b)(2) by responding to official inquiries and understanding highway traffic signs and signals in the English language. This includes the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that Company and government safety, policy and regulatory standards are met at all times and maintain zero preventable accidents.
  • Apply safe manure handling practices and comply with safety regulations in the event of a spill or overfill. Take immediate containment action and report all environmental exposure and related incidents to supervisor. Maintain safety and compliance
  • Maintain delivery vehicle. Review maintenance record, perform pre- and post-trip inspections. Report all vehicle conditions requiring attention for continued safe operation and proper vehicle maintenance.
  • Operate transport to deliver manure in accordance with Company and government
  • Follow dispatch policy, plan and procedures. Coordinate with dispatcher to confirm route.
  • Maintain professional image and respectful relations with customers and the general public at all times. Provide superior customer service, strive to maintain zero driver related customer
