About The Position

Full-Time (40 hours per week) RN or LPN Responsible for the coordination of clinical activities of the Wound Care Center. These include, but are not limited to utilization of skills in organization, planning, implementing, evaluating, and providing care through the use of hospital and nursing standards. Functions of Position (not an exhaustive list): - Provides specific assessments according to protocols and procedures related to wound care management and act as patient advocate in delivery and coordination of patient care - Provides efficient and effective care with the guidance of the physician during the clinic sessions and able to manage a number of patients at the same time with high energy and organization. - Collaborates with other health care providers, wound care center physicians, Program Director regarding clinic and patient needs.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing and hold a current registered nurse/licensed practical nurse license in NC.
• Maintains and demonstrates competency in BLS, ACLS and infection prevention.

Nice To Haves

• Wound Care Certification preferred along with Medical Surgical, home health, vascular, dermatology, or wound care experience.
