About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is central to ProMedica’s patient care team, providing patient-centered care with sensitivity and respect for diverse human experiences. ProMedica nurses are committed to improving health outcomes for patients and communities. As a coordinator of patient care plans, the RN will engage with patients, families, and the healthcare team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. Responsibilities include assessing, formulating nursing diagnoses, and planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans. The RN will collaborate with colleagues and support staff to achieve patient care goals and work towards enhancing patient care, the work environment, and overall satisfaction for both patients and staff. ProMedica is a mission-driven, not-for-profit healthcare organization based in Toledo, Ohio, serving communities across nine states. It offers a range of services, including acute and ambulatory care, a dental plan, and academic business lines. Requirements

  • Current State license as a Registered Nurse
  • Current CPR training
  • Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units
  • Complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during his/her licensure period (for RN in Ohio)
  • At least 1 hour of contact hours must be related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules (for RN in Ohio)
