About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor to oversee daily operations within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Queens, NY . The RN Unit Supervisor is responsible for ensuring exceptional resident care, supervising nursing staff, and maintaining compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations. This leadership position is ideal for RNs with strong clinical backgrounds and proven supervisory experience in long-term care or post-acute settings.

Requirements

• Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years’ RN experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, nursing home, or rehabilitation center.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or charge nurse experience required.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the assigned nursing unit.
• Supervise, schedule, and mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident care and ensure adherence to care plans.
• Provide direct clinical support and respond to urgent resident needs.
• Manage resident admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state, and federal regulations.
• Lead staff development, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support quality assurance initiatives.
