Requirements

Associate's in Nursing plus three (3) years of nursing experience
Valid Arkansas RN license
EPIC and Electronic health information systems

Nice To Haves

Bachelors in Nursing plus one (1) year of experience
Transplant experience
Demonstrated experience in healthcare quality or performance improvement, with the ability to track, trend, and analyze large, complex data sets.
Proficient in data management, interpretation, and translating findings into actionable items to support quality and regulatory initiatives.

Responsibilities

Participates in planning and implementing systematic processes to improve the quality and safety of patient care, and operational effectiveness of the program
Oversee the maintenance of the OPTN data entry system for transplant centers
Reviews medical records, including reviews of documentation required for UNOS and CMS
Assists and contributes to the Transplant Institute leaders and staff to assure continuous survey readiness with policy and procedure development, review and revision, mock survey drills, and ongoing education
Develop and maintain transplant statistical data and perform outcome monitoring in coordination with the Quality Director for the transplant department.
Assists in maintaining compliance with requirements of external agencies in the area of quality and accreditation surveys/inspections, specifically those related to Transplant, The Joint Commission, CMS, UNOS, and the ESRD Network.
