About The Position

This is a 100% FTE, salaried position at University Hospital in Madison, WI. The role is with the #1 hospital in Wisconsin, known for its nationally recognized transplant team with over 50 years of experience and more than 12,000 kidney transplant surgeries. The RN Transplant Coordinator – Kidney will collaborate with world-renowned transplant experts, guide patients through their transplant journey, and deliver personalized education and support across the continuum of care. The position involves building lasting relationships with patients and families and working in an academic medical center that applies research and cutting-edge therapies to improve patient outcomes and reduce transplant risks. The role aims to make a tangible difference by providing hope and saving lives by helping patients successfully navigate the transplant process, combining advanced clinical expertise, meaningful patient relationships, and life-saving impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • 2 years of clinical nursing experience
  • Progressive Nursing experience with demonstrated success
  • Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Nursing or relevant area may be used to substitute for one (1) year of clinical experience
  • 2 years of transplant or closely related nursing experience
