About The Position

For more than 50 years, our nationally recognized transplant team has performed more than 12,000 kidney transplant surgeries. We are seeking an RN Transplant Coordinator – Kidney to collaborate with world-renowned transplant experts in a program known globally for research, innovation, and excellence in patient outcomes. This role involves guiding patients through one of the most important journeys of their lives, using critical thinking and clinical judgment daily, and delivering personalized education and support across the continuum of care. The coordinator will facilitate building lasting relationships with patients and families and work in an academic medical center that actively applies research and cutting-edge therapies to help patients live longer and reduce transplant risks. The position makes a tangible difference, providing hope and saving lives by helping patients successfully navigate the transplant process. In this role, you will do work that deeply matters—combining advanced clinical expertise, meaningful patient relationships, and life-saving impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • 2 years of clinical nursing experience Required
  • Progressive Nursing experience with demonstrated success Required
  • Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Nursing or relevant area may be used to substitute for one (1) year of clinical experience
  • 2 years of transplant or closely related nursing experience Preferred
