The Job Mains in-depth knowledge of nursing principles, practices, standards, and techniques, and applies this knowledge in accordance with COPA policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations, including the following: · Conducts individualized patient assessments, prioritizing data collection based on the immediate condition and needs of infant, toddler, preschool, school-age, and adolescent patients within timeframes defined by practice policies, procedures, and protocols · Demonstrates the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize nursing care effectively · Performs physician-ordered treatments accurately and in a timely manner · Accurately forecasts and administers pediatric immunizations · Demonstrates efficiency and proficiency in the electronic health record (EHR) · Completes thorough, concise, and timely documentation in the patient’s medical record related to care provided and patient response · Demonstrates initiative and exercises independent clinical decision-making in alignment with clinical operations needs and standards · Performs RN appointments independently within scope of practice, using sound clinical judgment · Provides individualized education to patients and families · Assists with monitoring, procurement, and proper inventory of supplies and equipment · Maintains clinical competency by staying current with nursing skills, equipment, and best practices · Assists with orientation and onboarding of new personnel · Performs other related duties as directed by the manager
