Our staff is specially certified by the American Board of Surgery to treat a variety of pediatric conditions occurring throughout infancy and childhood. A caregiver in this position works days, 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• One year of RN experience OR completion of Cleveland Clinic’s Perioperative Residency Program
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross. If you do not hold this certification, you must obtain it within six months of hire

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN)

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in an operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.
• Perform scrub and circulating functions.
• Prepare the OR, surgical instruments and equipment for use.
