RN SUPERVISOR - 3RD SHIFT

Westside Terrace Healthcare is seeking an experienced NIGHT SHIFT R.N. Supervisor will have responsibility for the smooth and efficient functioning of the Nursing Department and the entire facility. Training/Experience Required: a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Nursing Supervisor, or Charge Nurse; with 2 years' clinical experience; actively engaged in direct patient care/management, recently for a minimum of 2 years; graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, and licensed as a R.N. in the State of AL; and, in possession of active CPR Certification.
Requirements
- minimum of 2 years' experience as a Nursing Supervisor, or Charge Nurse
- 2 years' clinical experience
- actively engaged in direct patient care/management, recently for a minimum of 2 years
- graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, and licensed as a R.N. in the State of AL
- in possession of active CPR Certification
Responsibilities
- verifies facility staffing , daily, upon arrival
- completes multiple Rounds on all neighborhoods
- monitoring nursing staff performance, daily
- assesses residents/patients with changes of status, or any incident occurrence, reported by Nurses, or C.NAs
- completes R.N. Assessments, as needed
- interprets facility policies and regulations
- ensures the maintenance of a safe environment
- intervenes in emergency situations that may occur
- arranges to cover staff call-outs for all shifts, called in during duty time
- speaks with residents/families, as needed
- serves as a role model, by being professional in appearance, comportment and demeanor, at all times
