About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN)-Per Diem performs pre and post-anesthesia nursing assessment and recovery for patients post-operation in the scope of RN practice. Is available to assist anesthesiologists with procedures as requested and to intervene in medical emergencies throughout the School of Dentistry. Performs other duties as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
Minimum two years of clinical experience in area of specialty required.
Able to use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position
Troubleshoot and calibrate patient care equipment

Discern temperature variances through touch
California Registered Nurse license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
