About The Position

Fairview Woodwinds Infusion Clinic in Woodbury, MN, has an immediate opening for an RN. Fairview is the largest healthcare system in the state, and this clinic is growing and collaborative. The clinic operates Monday - Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with no evenings, weekends, or holidays. This position is approved for 56 hours (.7 FTE) every two weeks. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient populations. This role requires adherence to all policies, procedures, professional practice guidelines, and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN will coordinate care with the health care team and delegate responsibilities as appropriate.

Requirements

Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
MN Registered Nurse (RN) License

1 year experience
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (American Heart Assoc) depending on the unit and patient population

Responsibilities

Assesses patient needs and identifies expected nursing outcomes.
Collaborates with patient, family and other health team members to develop a nursing plan as part of an integrated, comprehensive plan of care
Develops an individualized plan based on age, social and cultural considerations, condition and other relevant needs.
Evaluates care and patient response to interventions and expected outcomes.
Collaborates and communicates effectively and respectfully with the patient, family and members of the health care team within and across care settings to promote partnership-based health care
Demonstrates the ability to advance care by utilizing standards, guidelines, care pathways and continuous improvement to enhance patient outcomes.
Promotes a culture of evidence based practice (EBP)
