Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Valid Nursing License
- One year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- CPR certified
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Infusion and Home Health Care experience preferred
- Knowledge in IV therapy is a plus
Responsibilities
- Adheres to policies and procedures addressing the scope of services outlined in Infusion Nursing and Pharmacy services as well as state laws and regulations.
- Complies to INS and IgNS standards of practice, CDC guidelines, scope and standards of practice, and code of ethics as defined by American Nurses Association
- Develop goals of patients with Pharmacy staff
- Assesses patients and establishes appropriate plan of care base on health needs
- Educates patients and caregivers with resources and health related information
- Coordinates nursing care with Home Health agencies as required
