POSITION PORPOSE Registered Nurse RN position that supports the Trinity Health Livingston Emergency Observation Unit. The Emergency Observation Unit monitors patients with cardiac and respiratory symptoms with specialized care. This position is a Part-Time, benefited opportunity scheduled 24 hour per week: 12-hour night shift (6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m.) with a weekend and holiday rotation. WHAT YOU WILL DO Under limited supervision, the Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing patients, including developing, evaluating, and modifying the care plan. The RN interprets and performs complex patient-care procedures specific to their expertise. RNs are members of the Care Team and Support Team and have accountability to function as a team to accomplish patient outcomes identified in the pathway/plan of care. The Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for the care given to a group of patients for a designated time frame. The RN provides care to those patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/technology, and other healthcare team members, according to established standards. Patients served include all age groups (Infant through Older Adults as identified in Performance Standards). ABOUT TRINITY HEALTH LIVINGSTON Trinity Health Livingston Hospital is licensed for 66 beds and is Livingston County's only full-service hospital. Livingston county is expanding and we're growing with you. We're building the new Trinity Health Livingston hospital on the property of the existing Brighton medical center. Work a minimum of forty-eight (48) out of fifty-two (52) weekends per year. The four weekends not worked must be requested in advance and have approval of the department. b.
