About The Position

Northeast Georgia Health System is rooted in a foundation of improving the health of our communities. About the Role: Job Summary Neuro IMC is a 16-bed Intermediate Care nursing unit. Neuro IMC serves as a dedicated stroke nursing unit. As a Neuro IMC unit, care is rendered to a variety of intermediate care neuro patients including but not limited to: High acuity ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke patients Patients receiving IV thrombolytic for acute ischemic stroke Patients requiring continuous EEG monitoring Patients with other neurological disorders such as Guillain-Barre’ Syndrome, Myasthenia Gravis, and ALS Patients with hemodynamic instability needing antiarrhythmic and/or vasopressor medications

Requirements

Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
Associate's Degree, ADN or Diploma required
At least 1 year of RN experience
Basic computer skills necessary to operate computer systems used on unit
