Geisinger is offering a hiring incentive of up to $26,000 for eligible Inpatient RN candidates, with a minimum hiring rate of $41.41 and increased rates for experienced individuals, plus up to $7 shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts. The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, performing, and evaluating nursing activities to meet patient needs. This role promotes adaptive responses from patients and families to achieve the highest level of patient care, ensures safety, and maximizes patient satisfaction. The RN exhibits compassionate care during patient-nurse interactions, coordinates patient care, and manages staff interactions. They must meet the qualifications to provide care in their assigned nursing unit and are accountable for optimizing all patient and family interactions to ensure the best experience. The unit primarily features private rooms with some semi-private rooms, catering to a patient population with a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions, specializing in surgical orthopedic patients and total joint surgery. It includes an onsite physical and occupational therapy gym and 24/7 Hospitalist services.
