If so — Cassia, a senior living organization, wants YOU as our next Regional Director of Clinical Services & After-Hours! In this high-visibility leadership role, you’ll directly support several Assisted Living communities across the region, oversee our talented interim nurse team, and lead our dedicated after-hours clinical program serving Assisted Living and Comprehensive Home Care sites. You’ll also become our resident expert in Cassia’s scheduling platform, helping teams work smarter, not harder. This is the perfect opportunity for a hands-on, mission-driven RN who has supervisory experience and enjoys mentoring others, strengthening clinical excellence, and helping communities thrive. This position is based in Edina, Minnesota and requires Assisted Living experience.

Requirements

  • RN license in Minnesota (required).
  • Previous Assisted Living experience required.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Willing to obtain RN licensure in IA, ND, CO, and FL within one month of hire.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • High level of professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to take after-hours calls as needed — including some weekends/holidays.
  • A passion for teamwork, problem-solving, and elevating senior care.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with each site’s Director of Health Services to ensure strong survey results and outstanding quality outcomes.
  • Be present during state/federal surveys and health department visits — your expertise will guide teams through the process.
  • Conduct focused community visits, reviewing compliance, policies, documentation, and clinical indicators.
  • Build trust as a calm, reassuring presence who lifts up staff, residents, and families.
  • Lead with the support of our after-hours clinical coordinator and lead nurse.
  • Maintain smooth operations, strong staffing, effective onboarding, and timely follow-up.
  • Audit performance and empower nurses to do their best work.
  • Own the success and quality of this vital Cassia program.
  • Serve as the go-to resource for troubleshooting, best practices, and workflow guidance.
  • Help internal teams use the system effectively and confidently.
  • Guide skilled RNs who serve as Nurse Leads in communities needing extra support.
  • Oversee scheduling, orientation, coaching, and performance.
  • Ensure every site has the leadership coverage it needs to deliver exceptional care.
