Schedule: 3 shifts per 6 week period Shift : Days OR Nights Unit: PCU / MS Schedule: PRN (See below) Location: 11801 South Fwy., Burleson, TX 76028 RN Tier 1 CSO PRN - $45/HR Shift Diff Commit to 36 hours per 6-week schedule Hours are not guaranteed Work 1 weekend shift per 6-week schedule Work 1 Holiday/DTS shift during commitment period Works at one AH facility with minimum competency to work 1 area/unit RN Tier 2 CSO PRN $47/HR Shift Diff Commit to 36 hours per 6-week schedule Hours are not guaranteed Work 1 weekend shift per 6-week schedule Work 1 Holiday/DTS shift during commitment period Works at two AH facilities with minimum competency to work 1 area/unit RN Tier 3 CSO PRN $50/HR Shift Diff Commit to 48 hours per pay period Hours are not guaranteed Work 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule Work 2 holiday/DTS shift during commitment period Works at two AH facilities with minimum competency to work 2 areas/units May request 1-week unpaid vacation during commitment period. No approved time off during holiday weeks. Must provide manager 4 weeks notice for vacation requests. RN Tier 4 CSO PRN $55/HR Shift Diff Commit to 72 hours per pay period Hours are not guaranteed Work 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule Work 2 Holiday/DTS shifts during commitment period. Works at 2 AH facilities with minimum competency to work 2 areas/units. May request 1-week unpaid vacation during commitment period. No approved time off during holiday weeks. Must provide manager 4 weeks notice for vacation requests Our care for patients extend to the spiritual level by praying with patients and families and providing on call, 24 hours, 7 days a week Chaplains for spiritual support. The Staff RN coordinates the care and service of selected patient populations across the continuum of illness; promotes effective utilization of and monitors health care resources; and provides input and information to the interdisciplinary team via the Charge Nurse to achieve optimal clinical and resource outcomes. The Staff RN will adhere to and follow the goals, philosophy, policies, standards and guidelines of AdventHealth Central Texas.

Requirements

  • A graduate of an accredited school of nursing or degree program
  • Current Texas RN License or a Compact RN License from a NCLA Compact State
  • BLS certification

Responsibilities

  • Assesses, develops, implements, and evaluates a comprehensive plan of care through a multidisciplinary care team process in conjunction with the patient/family in internal and external settings.
  • Comprehensively assess patients' goals as well as their biophysical, psychosocial, environmental and discharge planning needs by procuring services through hospital resources.
  • Contacts other key members of the team as needed.
  • Seeks peer consultation regarding cases that present problems/significant variances.
  • Acts as a liaison to post-hospital care providers and community health resources.
  • Manages each patient transition through the system and transfers accountability to the appropriate person/agency upon discharge from unit and/or from hospital.
  • In group practice modality, consistently and constructively attends meetings of the practice group and participates in regular peer review.
  • Recognizes and identifies life threatening situations, responding with immediate action according to protocol/policy with no unjustified documented variances
