Provides and coordinates direct care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in the Progressive Care Unit utilizing the nursing process. Is responsible for appropriately managing care of assigned patients who present with illnesses and/or diseases whose needs fall between what must be delivered in the ICU and what can be handled on most general medical floors.
