About The Position

DISC Surgery Center is seeking a full-time PreOp/PACU RN for its Carlsbad, CA location, which specializes in Spine, Orthopedic, and Pain management procedures.

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• BCLS and ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
• Proficiency in airway management and post-anesthesia recovery
• 2 years experience in acute care, PACU, or ICU experience

Responsibilities

• Monitor post-operative patients' conditions and manage their pain levels
• Assess patients' vital signs and airways post-surgery
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
