About The Position

Ensures that the patient is properly introduced to the unit & his/her surroundings within one hour after arrival in unit. Completes assessment as reflected in nursing notes & admission history within 8 hours. Provides baseline data pertaining to activities of daily living. Reflects physiological condition & psychosocial needs of the patient. Reflects perceptions of patient and/or significant others of his/her health problem(s) & his/her expectations of the present hospitalization. Provides information needed to begin discharge planning. Utilizes standards of care to anticipate potential patient care problems.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited RN program
  • Registered Nurse: CA
  • Basic Life Support - CPR BLS
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS, within 90 Days of employment

Nice To Haves

  • one year acute care experience.

Responsibilities
