About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an RN - PACU for an exciting Travel or Local job in Petaluma, CA. This position involves providing comprehensive care in Phase I and Phase II PACU and pre/post-operative settings. Key responsibilities include performing airway, respiratory, and cardiac patient assessments, administering various medications including emergency drugs, narcotics, and vasopressors, and monitoring post-anesthesia recovery while managing any complications. The role also requires assisting with procedural sedation and recovery monitoring, performing IV therapy, phlebotomy, and managing vascular access. Additionally, the RN will be responsible for providing pre-op education, completing patient documentation, delivering post-op care, and coordinating discharge. The successful candidate will be expected to float to pre-op and other PACU phases as needed, participate in on-call and weekend rotations, and support care across multiple surgical specialties and age groups. Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of PACU experience required
  • Active California RN license required
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Ability to float and work in high-acuity environments

Nice To Haves

  • ICU and/or ED experience preferred
  • Experience with ventilated patients and airway management preferred

Responsibilities
