About The Position

Welcome to a medical center where you're the center of attention. Pay range: - Hourly $49.00 - $87.12 We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse for our PACU. This unit is responsible to prepare patients for surgical procedures. Patient populations include Cardio/Thoracic, Gynecology/Oncology, Bariatric, Orthopedics, Urology, Podiatry, Vascular, and General Surgery. 0.6 FTE / 24 hours per week 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts Call shifts required: 2 weekday night shift call shifts and 2 weekend night call shifts every 6-10 weeks.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing required, BSN preferred.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington. (May be a multi-State license from a Compact state or a Washington license.)
  • Critical Care seasoned nurse with a minimum of 2 years PACU experience.
  • Healthcare provider CPR Certification required.
  • ACLS & PALS certified.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
  • Note - RNs hired into units that require a competency in cardiac rhythm interpretation will be required to take a rhythm assessment in their first week. This will include standard cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmias and paced rhythms.
  • COVID-19 vaccination requirement: After October 18, 2021 all Washington state healthcare employees, contractors and volunteers will be required to provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization as a condition of employment. You must provide this proof before your first day of employment with Overlake. Please remember to bring your COVID-19 immunization card to your pre-hire health screening with our Employee Health team.
