Requirements

Licensure: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
Academic Preparation: Degree from accredited academic nursing program (If a program is under conditional status, approval may be granted by system CNO)
Minimum ADN preparation with expectation of BSN completion within 5 years of hire
Maintains current training in following: BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) required for all
Additional Requirements based upon area of service
CDS Outpatient Specialty Care Clinics: Oncology Chemotherapy certification
Urgent Care: ACLS, PALS
Pediatric Urgent Care: PALS
Experience: Minimum New graduate or experienced nurse from an accredited nursing program

Nice To Haves

Specialty Certifications in area of practice preferred

Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care for nurse visits in the ambulatory care setting per clinic staffing models.
Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care for telephone triage in the ambulatory care setting per clinic staffing models.
Responsible for Medication Refill Management as an agent of the provider using approved nursing protocols.
Ensures safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered care of patients.
Other duties as assigned.
