About The Position

The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional responsible for providing patient care in the Outpatient Imaging department at Enloe Medical Center, adhering to established standards, policies, and practices. This role involves prioritizing patient needs, coordinating patient care, and collaborating with other healthcare team members to ensure care aligns with the medical plan. All nursing practices, policies, procedures, and quality assurance are overseen by the Vice President of Nursing Services.

Requirements

• One year of nursing experience
• Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
• Current CPR Certification
• Current ACLS Certification
• Current PALS Certification (within 6 months of hire)
• Current RCM Certification (Radiopaque Contrast Media), obtained within 30 days of employment (dept tracks)
• Must demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills and sensitivity for the patient and family in crisis
• Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position

Nice To Haves

• Outpatient Radiology experience
• Previous experience with procedural sedation and patient recovery
• Critical Care experience
