Description: JOB SUMMARY Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and practices. Duties include assessment of patients, developing plan of care, implementing the plan of care and evaluating plan of care. Position requires a high quality of care in order to meet the Hospital's core mission. Demonstrate knowledge and execute AORN standards and recommendations. Pull cases according to doctor preference cards. Maintain knowledge of surgical procedures. Anticipate needs of surgeon. Review picklist/ preference cards and make updates. Represents Phoebe values and role models leadership characteristics. Follow standard work and policies of Phoebe Health system. Facilitate cases to include verifies all supplies, implants and instruments are available. Meets or exceeds surgeon's expectations. Meets or exceeds surgeon's expectations for all Procedures to include Ortho and Neuro and more. Verifies team members skill set. EDUCATION Associate's Degree from a state accredited School of Professional Nursing (Required) Bachelor's Degree from a state accredited School of Professional Nursing in from a state accredited School of Professional Nursing (Preferred) CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES Registered Nurse (RN) with current Georgia license (Required) Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year of hire (Required) Achieve CNOR Certification within 1 year of hire (Required)
