Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing OR Master’s degree in Social Work
  • Active RN license or active LCSW/LMSW license in Georgia
  • Minimum 3 years of acute care clinical nursing or hospital social work experience
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in an acute care setting

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with InterQual or utilization review tools
  • Case Management Certification (CCM, ACM)
  • InterQual or IQCI certification
  • Experience supporting large, high-acuity hospitals or academic medical centers

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and operational oversight of hospital-wide case management services
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate RN and social work case management staff
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and utilization management guidelines
  • Serve as a clinical and operational subject-matter expert for case management practices
  • Oversee documentation quality, care coordination activities, and discharge planning processes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient throughput and appropriate resource utilization
  • Monitor performance metrics, quality outcomes, and workflow efficiency
  • Support staff development, competency management, and professional growth
