Ebenezer is hiring an RN Nurse Manager who would be responsible for continuity of nursing care for our Skilled Nursing Facility patients by delegating, directing, and monitoring nursing care delivered. Demonstrates management skills through effective problem solving and decision- making, assuring compliance with State and Federal regulations as well as Ebenezer Quality standards. Nursing schedule includes; Full-time; 80 hours every two weeks Monday-Friday Day Shift Every 9th weekend rotation Full Benefits Package: https://www.ebenezercares.org/employee-benefits (paid time off, matching retirement, medical, dental, wellness reimbursement, more) RN student loan repayment option, up to $10,000 over 5 years. $2,000 each year

Requirements

  • Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree – Registered Nurse
  • 1 year Long Term Care
  • Registered Nurse with the MN Board of Nursing
  • Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc, Red Cross or MTN)
  • AHA: BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program or BLS Provider - BLS Instructor. American Red Cross: CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and/or Healthcare Providers, Life Guarding First Aid/CPR/AED

  • Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

  • Leads, supervises, directs and/or delegates all nursing functions on assigned unit or floor (TCU/LTC) to assure that care is provided per individualized plan of care. Assures staff compliance with State and Federal regulations, Nursing Standards of Practice and Ebenezer Quality Assurance Standards.
  • Assures that plan of care, medical records and other documentation are up to date
  • Reports problematic areas to management and provides suggestions and solutions. Makes decisions regarding situations, implements actions and evaluates outcomes.
  • Serves as facility supervisor and assumes administrative responsibilities as assigned.
