About The Position

Meritus Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to lead the operations of the Meritus Endoscopy Center at Robinwood Professional Center . The Manager will oversee daily clinical and administrative functions, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, safety, and operational efficiency in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Business Management, or Healthcare Administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as an RN
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in an ambulatory or outpatient surgery setting
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a management role
  • Active RN license in Maryland
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
  • This role involves standing and walking for extended periods, occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs.), and frequent interaction with patients and staff in a clinical environment.
  • Regular exposure to clinical materials is expected as part of standard healthcare operations

Nice To Haves

  • GI experience in a freestanding ASC preferred
  • CMS, Quad A, AAAHC knowledge and experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Manage day-to-day operations, including patient scheduling, pre-operative assessments, surgical procedures, recovery, and discharge processes.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and evaluate a multidisciplinary team of nurses and support staff to ensure excellence in patient care.
  • Quality & Compliance: Develop and implement policies and procedures aligned with accreditation standards (CMS) and state/federal regulations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, anesthetists, and administrative partners to promote seamless coordination and positive patient outcomes.
  • Performance & Improvement: Conduct audits, data reviews, and performance evaluations to drive quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
  • Financial Oversight: Partner with finance leaders to develop budgets, manage costs, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Community Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with referring providers and patients to enhance the center’s reputation and volume.
