Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority, identifying, reporting and responding to incidents and providing safety resources. This is a regular PRN position, with caregivers working 8-to-10-hour shifts + on-call shifts between 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. with weekend and holiday requirements. Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• External applicants: must have two years of recent related nursing experience.
• Internal applicants: with less than two years of experience but post orientation/90-day probationary period could be considered with Chief Nursing Officer level review and approval
• Will consider licensed military RN experience
• Endoscopy experience

• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing formal and informal education and clinical nursing study.
