Requirements

• Clinical ICU experience, with the ability to support high-acuity patient care environments
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including staff guidance, decision-making, and accountability
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust across teams
• Effective communication with staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary partners
• Collaboration to drive shared goals and positive outcomes
• Team-building to foster engagement, morale, and performance
• Conflict resolution, addressing concerns professionally and constructively
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
• Two years' registered nurse experience, with demonstrated progressive leadership responsibility OR one year of registered nurse experience plus one year of leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for self and within unit.
• Conducts hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff.
• Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned unit(s).
• Develops and implements policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit.
• Monitors and adheres to budget.
• Approves or monitors expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
