Weekends - RN / LVN Pediatric Home Health Nurse
About The Position
Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) in Austin, TX and surrounding areas. Established in 2000, Angels of Care provides care for the medically fragile community, guided by values of Heart, Advocacy, Love, Outreach, and Speed (HALOS). Nurses provide direct, one-on-one medical care to infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home, following the active plan of care prescribed by a physician and other appropriate personnel. The company is looking for nurses to work full-time and part-time shifts, with days, nights, and weekends available.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN/LVN license
- Provide care in a client home setting
- Ability to make a positive and lasting impression!
Responsibilities
- Focus on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel.
- Conduct on-going patient care and assessments.
- Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies.
- Coordination of care
- Educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes
- Preventative initiatives to protect quality of care for patient
