Family First Homecare is urgently seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with pediatric tracheostomy and ventilator experience for an adorable 8-month-old in a loving Miami-Dade home. About the Patient: Age: 1 'year old ( strong little fighter!) Care Needs: Tracheostomy and Ventilator Management (critical requirement) Ileostomy care Personal care assistance Home Environment: Supportive family + sweet pup 🐢 Schedule: 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday | 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (3-day weekends every week!)

Requirements

  • Active RN or LPN license in Florida (or multi-state compact)
  • 1+ years of pediatric or home care experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Current CPR certification (hands-on skills check)
  • Clear background and health screenings

Nice To Haves

  • pediatric trach and vent experience (or are eager to learn!)
  • Are confident working independently in home care
  • Are compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Have experience with infants or pediatric home care

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, skilled trach and vent care within licensure scope
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
  • Communicate effectively with families and care team
  • Mentor new team members during orientation
  • Educate patients and caregivers as needed
  • Uphold FFHC’s standards for compliance, ethics, and confidentiality
