What You’ll Do Perform ultrasound‑guided peripheral IV insertions and midline catheter placements Complete sterile dressing changes , port access/de‑access , and phlebotomy for difficult venous access patients Assess vascular access needs and recommend appropriate device selection Collaborate with physicians and bedside nurses to support optimal patient care Troubleshoot line‑related issues and promote best practices in vascular access What You Bring Strong clinical experience with aseptic technique , vascular anatomy , and infection‑prevention standards Ability to work independently and prioritize consults across multiple departments Excellent time‑management, communication, and critical‑thinking skills A resource‑driven mindset, supporting staff education and patient‑safety initiatives Responsibilities The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
