About The Position

Travel RN - Interventional Radiology (Days) Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced RN - Interventional Radiology (Days) for a 13-week travel assignment in Pittsfield, MA. Vascular and Interventional Radiology (VIR) is an innovative branch of medicine in which physicians treat diseases non-operatively through small catheters guided to the target by fluoroscopic and other imaging modalities. Many of these minimally invasive procedures have replaced traditional surgery. Angiogram of Multiple System Peripheral Revascularization Placement and Maintenance of Hemodialysis Catheter Nephrostomy Drainage Tubes Placement and Maintenance of Gastrostomy and Jejunostomy Tubes Central Line Placement Vascular Access to Include Port Placement and Integrity Pain Management Intervention Paracentesis/Thoracentesis Pre and Post-Care for Patient having Renal, Liver, and Lung Biopsy Carotid Stenting

Requirements

  • 2 years current Interventional Radiology/IR RN experience is required
  • Cardiac Cath and Electrophysiology experience is required
  • DEFIBRILLATION CERTIFICATION is required
  • IV skills is required
  • CCU experience is required
  • Ability to function independently and proficiently in a high stress, work intensive environment.
  • Attendance at all mandatory education is required.
  • Traveler perm address must be included in profile
  • Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
  • Massachusetts RN license - Must be uploaded with profile is required
  • Active American Heart Association BLS is required
  • Active American Heart Association ACLS is required
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

  • Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assesses person’s served care needs, develops a plan of care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and continually reassesses plan of care according to person’s served care needs.
  • In collaboration with the physician, provides/coordinates nursing care to individuals and groups of person’s served.
  • Provides a safe and secure environment for persons served and staff in both individual and group settings.
  • Responsible for documenting, reporting, and verifying all necessary information according to established policies and procedures.
  • Responsible to monitor for and report to the physician(s) any potential risk to person’s served safety that could lead to an adverse outcome.
