RN- Inpatient Rehabilitation
About The Position
An opportunity to join Trinity Health Livonia as a Registered Nurse in their 3W unit, a 20-bed intensive inpatient rehabilitation program. This unit is dedicated to helping patients recover and regain their prior level of functioning, with common diagnoses including stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and cervical myelopathy. The multidisciplinary team-focused unit provides comprehensive therapy and nursing care to support patients through their recovery journey. The role requires a high level of physical involvement, including assisting with transfers and ambulation, making it ideal for nurses passionate about hands-on care and functional improvement. The Registered Nurse is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe, including coordination and evaluation of care, teaching, and delegation of patient activities to other health care team members.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Nursing required
- Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required
- BLS required
- Must be computer proficient
- Must have excellent customer service skills
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Agreement in writing to obtain a BSN within five years (if not already held)
- Previous medical surgical experience
Responsibilities
- Accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe
